Overview
Entarim is an ongoing mobile e-commerce prototype focused on product discovery, categorization and the checkout experience — built as a hands-on exploration of end-to-end mobile commerce product flows.
Why I Built / Explored It
Mobile commerce checkout is one of the highest-stakes flows in any product — small friction points translate directly into lost conversion. I built Entarim to explore that problem space myself, from browsing through to payment, rather than only reviewing it as a stakeholder.
What It Does
The prototype covers the core mobile commerce journey: product browsing, cart, address entry, a payment UI, and order confirmation with an order number, including sensible empty states throughout. It has been iterated through simulator and device testing rather than shipped as a live store.
Product / Implementation Approach
- Prototyped the full core journey — browsing, cart, address, payment UI, order confirmation — as a connected flow rather than isolated screens.
- Designed empty states for key screens so the product feels complete even before real data or a real catalog exists.
- Validated checkout-adjacent form behavior in detail: card-number formatting, GSM (mobile number) input rules, and expiration-date handling.
- Iterated the prototype through repeated simulator and device testing to catch UX issues that only show up on real screens and real interaction.
- Explored generative AI tooling to help produce visual and product assets during the design process.

What It Demonstrates / What I Learned
- Deep, hands-on exposure to checkout UX — the exact edge cases (input formatting, validation, empty states) that separate a working checkout from a fragile one.
- Practical e-commerce product thinking across the full funnel: discovery, categorization, cart, payment and confirmation.
- Experience validating a prototype through iterative simulator/device testing rather than assumption alone.
- Direct, working experience with AI-assisted product development tooling as part of the design process.
